In Celebration of the ENMAX Centre's 50th Anniversary
The ENMAX Centre and the City of Lethbridge are excited to announce a never-before-seen event for the community, Thunder in the Bridge.
The outdoor music festival is curated for the people who have attended and supported the ENMAX Centre over the facility’s 50-year history.
“What better way is there to celebrate 50 years of memorable community events than giving people the opportunity to create more?” said Jennifer Norsworthy, Acting General Manager, ENMAX Centre. “It’s an incredible way for the community to come together, enjoy some great music and food and build on the 50 years of memorable experiences people have created here with us.”
The festival will take place in the east parking lot at the Sportsplex from September 6 to 7 with so much for festival goers to celebrate, see and do. Games, giveaways, food and drinks, local artists and bands plus major headliners will close out each evening of this golden milestone event.
The first-of-its-kind festival will see rockers and country fans rejoicing with one day of the festival dedicated to their favourite music.
Day 1
Thunder in the Bridge - Rock Day brought to you by 106.7 ROCK, will kick off the 50th Anniversary celebration at the ENMAX Centre on Friday, September 6. The global rockstar sensations Our Lady Peace, will headline the day supported by popular rock bands Headstones and I MOTHER EARTH. Day 2

Opening acts for each day will feature local artists that will be determined by an exclusive Thunder in the Bridge Showcase Contest. Stay tuned for details on contest application, rules and judging in the coming weeks.
While the festival is curated for Lethbridge and surrounding communities, Norsworthy says they aim to attract music fans from British Columbia and south to Montana.
“We know rock and country music fans love coming here to experience everything Lethbridge has to offer,” said Norsworthy. “Anytime we can attract folks from out of town with a great event like this, it means an economic boost for our local business community too.”

- Where is the festival located?
- The festival is located at the ENMAX Centre in the East parking lot off of 28th Street South.
- How and where do I buy tickets?
- Tickets can be purchased by the following methods:
- Online at www.enmaxcentre.ca
- By phone at 403-329-7328
- In person at the ENMAX Centre or at the Yates Memorial Theatre Ticket Offices
- Hours of Operation are Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm; extended hours on event days and closed stat holidays
- Tickets can be purchased by the following methods:
- Can I purchase a ticket on the day of the event?
- Yes! Tickets will be available on each day of the festival
- What happens if the weather is poor?
- The festival will take place in rain or shine. Refunds will not be provided due to poor weather conditions.
- Where do I park? How do I get to the festival grounds?
- Parking will be available in our North and West lots located at the ENMAX Centre. However, it is highly encouraged to find safe alternate methods of transportation to and from the festival grounds. Bikes, scooters, and skateboards will not be permitted within the festival grounds. Roller blades will be not be permitted to be worn within the festival grounds.
- Paid parking is in effect for both days of the festival. Parking rates is $5 per day per vehicle
- Can I leave the festival and return later?
- Entry and Re-entry will be allowed until 7pm each day of the festival. After 7pm, our regular no re-entry policy will apply. Wristbands will be required to re-enter. ENMAX Centre will not replace lost or damaged wristbands.
- Will food and beverage be available?
- Yes! Food trucks and concessions will be available on site on the festival grounds. No outside food and beverage will be permitted.
- What are the methods of payment I can use at the festival?
- Cash, Debit and Credit will be accepted at the festival, however, no ATM’s will be on site.
- What can I bring?
- A reasonable sized single, folding lawn chair (no chair bags, no umbrella attachments, no canopy’s, no double sided chairs)
- Sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, hats
- Dress for the weather (eg: jackets may be desired if it’s a cool evening)
- Bags – one bag no larger than 12”x12”x12” to hold your belongings (no backpacks)
- Diaper bags will be permitted
- What should I leave at home?
- Umbrellas
- Weapons (knives, spikes, chains)
- Strollers/wagons
- Coolers
- Professional cameras, selfie sticks, tripods, ipads, tablets
- Large lawn chairs with canopies or double wide lawn chairs
- Drones
- Laser Pointers
- Can I bring my pet?
- Animals are not permitted within the festival grounds, please leave them at home.
- Service animals will be permitted at the festival
- Can I bring my child(ren)?
- Yes! This is an all ages event. All children ages 3 and up require a purchased ticket.
- Can I smoke/vape at the festival?
- The festival grounds will be a non-smoking/vaping site, except in the assigned designated smoking area
Policies/Rules & Conditions
- Thunder in the Bridge will take place RAIN or SHINE. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No refunds.
- All acts of advertising have confirmed their appearance; however, tickets are not for a specific artist. Artists and schedule are subject to change without notice. Artist cancellation is not grounds for a refund.
- ENMAX Centre is not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten, secondary marketplace fraudulent tickets.
- Entry and Reentry will be allowed until 7pm each day of the festival. After 7pm, our regular no re-entry policy will apply. Wristbands will be required to re-enter. ENMAX Centre will not replace lost or damaged wristbands.
- Children are allowed, ages 3 and up must have an admission ticket.
- No photo, video, or audio recording equipment aside from CELL PHONES are allowed (no detachable lenses, tripods, selfiesticks, ipads/tablets).
- Bags larger than 12" x 12" x 12" are not permitted. All bags are subject to search. Backpacks will not be permitted with the exception of diaper bags.
- Lawn chairs are allowed. Bring your seating as none is provided or available for rent. A reasonable sized single, folding lawn chair (no chair bags, no umbrella attachments, no canopy’s, no double sided chairs)
- The festival grounds will be a nonsmoking/vaping site, except in the assigned designated smoking area
- No outside food & beverages or coolers allowed. Food Trucks and Concessions will be available.
- Lewd conduct, of any kind, will not be tolerated and if in violation patrons will be removed from the festival site. No refunds will be issued.
- No pets allowed. Service animals will be permitted.
- No umbrellas of any kind.
- No tailgating.
- No overnight camping within the parking lot and festival grounds.
- No weapons and fireworks allowed. Weapons include, but not limited to knives, chains, spikes, tools, etc.
- ENMAX Centre reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone at our discretion
- All patrons are subject to being searched as a condition of entry.
- All people attending Thunder in the Bridge do so at their own risk. No liability is assumed by owners, managers, promoters, sponsors, contractors or others associated with the event.
- Help keep the festival site looking great by cleaning up your trash and empties throughout the day.
Events include (but not limited to) concerts, cultural & entertainment, tradeshow or sport*:

If I have a Hurricane Season Ticket Holder Pass, do I still have to pay for parking?
- Yes. Parking passes are ONLY VALID for the regular and playoff home games and NOT ENMAX Centre Events (eg: Concerts).

Season ticket holders will receive one parking pass per associated Ticket Centre account. Limitations and exceptions may apply.
- It is the responsibility of the parking pass holder to ensure the parking pass is visible
- Lost/Stolen/Destroyed Passes will not be replaced.
- Playoff Games: Parking passes from the regular season will extend into Playoff games for no additional fee, if applicable.
- Parking passes are ONLY VALID for the regular and playoff home games and NOT ENMAX Centre Events (eg: Concerts).
- Please note: There are no designated parking areas for pass holders.
- Non Season Ticket Holders – cost is a flat rate of $5.00 per vehicle

Banquets and Meetings include all events in the Canadian Western Bank Lounge. Paid Parking is Free unless specified otherwise with your booking.
This includes Recreational Hockey, Birthday Parties, Small User Groups.

- At the time of your booking it will be communicated to the Organizer, who has the responsibility to transfer the paid parking information to the Group. There are no refunds if you pay for parking when you did not need to.
College parking is in effect Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 4:00 pm
- Day Rate - $5.00
- Weekly Rate - $15.00
- Monthly Rate - $35.00
- Semester Rate - $115.00
- Fall Semester: September to December (available to purchase August 29 to October 1)
- Winter Semester: January to April (available to purchase December 28 to February 1)
- No pass or permit will be issued upon purchase.
- Parking enforcement at the ENMAX Centre will use license plate recognition software to identify vehicles that are in violation and issue tickets.
Why are you making students pay now when they have always got free parking?
- Students already have to pay for parking on the LC campus (and at the University of Lethbridge). The fee structure will be similar to campus in providing a daily, weekly, monthly, and semester rates.
- The ENMAX Centre parking lots have been used as an overflow area, and in other cases to avoid charges. Those students who can't afford parking would have the opportunity to use Lethbridge Transit, which may be a more affordable option.
How are you communicating this to Lethbridge College?
- We have been in contact with the Communications Department at the Lethbridge College to ensure this information is shared with their students and is included in the new student package this fall. There will also be signage installed informing ENMAX Centre parkers of this change.

- There are also 4 bright yellow Parking Kiosks that can be used in person:
- 2 located outside at the north side of the building
- 2 located inside ENMAX Centre; one on each side of the main doors

- No. Once you have entered your license plate number at the Kiosk or on the Flowbird app you are good to go!
- If you have been provided a pass/permit, this must be displayed in your front window to avoid a parking ticket.
Park in the designated "Ticket Pick-Up" zone in front of the South Country Co-op Ticket Centre. It allows you 15 minutes and you don't have to pay for parking.
You do not need to pay for parking as long as you are not staying.
We know this change will take some getting used to. Enforcement will not start immediately when the event starts so you’ll have time to get to your seat. Here are a few helpful tips.
- Arrive a bit earlier than usual, particularly when this new system launches.
- Download the Flowbird app so you don’t have to wait in line at a kiosk. Find your seat and conveniently pay online.
- Know your license plate number as it will be required at either the kiosk or in setting up the app.
Although we do not anticipate a significant change once paid parking is implemented, we are aware that residential parking in this area has been a concern for many years for both ENMAX Centre visitors and Lethbridge College students.

Servus Sport Centre is operate by the Lethbridge Soccer Association and not by the ENMAX Centre. For more information please check out the Servus Sport Centre info page at: www.lethbridgesoccer.com.
The Soccer Centre maintains and manages this parking lot.
Parking enforcement at the ENMAX Centre will use license plate recognition software to identify vehicles that are in violation and issue tickets.
Parking fine appeals are submitted to the Park and Ride parking office at 705 5 Ave S or submit your appeal online to Parking@lethbridge.ca Appeals will be considered upon the basis of parking and traffic regulations.
